Background

For over fifteen years, our firm has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to businesses and individuals. Our expertise ranges from basis tax compliance and accounting services to more in-depth services such as financial statement preparation, reviews, tax and estate planning and business consulting.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the face of the ever changing business cycle and increasing complex tax and regulatory environment. Our firm is dedicated to achieving this through open communication with our clients, thorough research and sound analysis, while maintaining high standards of excellence and professionalism.

Our Team

Brenda Skinner, CPA is the owner of our firm.

She is certified in the state of North Carolina (certificate # 15126). Brenda has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Queens University, Charlotte, NC and also is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Brenda has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience. Prior to opening her own practice, she worked for several Charlotte -based CPA firms where she gained a wide range of experience working with many types of businesses and individuals. She also taught classes at Central Piedmont Community College on recordkeeping and financial management for small businesses.

Brenda holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association.

The other members of our team include Doris Toungate (non-CPA) and from time to time, other non-CPA staff provide support in the areas of tax and accounting
